These have always been the phenomena which have most fascinated and inspired me. Rare books can combine all three. Join me in appreciating the beauty of books, exploring the romance and mystery that surrounds them, and feeling the thrill of holding history in your hands.

Twice a theology graduate from Oriel College, Oxford, once an intern at the Musei Vaticani, Rome and permanently a lover of beauty, in the autumn I started an exciting new opportunity at Forum Auctions, London. The newest member of their Books and Manuscripts department, I will be writing regular articles on particular books that pass through the Sale Room. Themes will most likely include: theology, Catholic history, illumination and illustration, Italy and gender.
